Registration for the OCAFS Annual Meeting (January 26-27, 2023 at the Quest Center in Westerville, OH) is now open! Here are some meeting details:
Registration. Please register at https://ohio.fisheries.org/2023-annual-meeting-registration/. Registration costs $110 for professionals and only $30 for students. Payments are made using a paypal link, but please be sure to fill out the registration form and click “Submit” BEFORE making your payment.
Lodging. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Polaris Hilton Garden Inn under “Ohio American Fisheries Society”. Block rooms are at the GSA rate of $122/night + taxes. You can make your reservations at: https://www.hilton.com/en/attend-my-event/cmhcpgi-ohfish-bab9e467-b985-4869-9d0a-686f4f0cf0e1/ by January 16, 2023. There are numerous other hotel options at Polaris near the meeting venue, if you prefer something else.
Social. We are planning a social event at BJs restaurant, which is within walking distance of the Hilton Garden Inn, on the evening of Thursday, January 26. Please indicate on the registration form whether you plan on attending.
Workshop. On Friday, January 27, we are pleased to announce that we are hosting a Stream Fish Identification workshop, instructed by Marc Kibbey and Brian Zimmerman. The workshop will occur late-morning–early afternoon, and should give everyone plenty of time to travel back. Please indicate on the registration form whether you plan on attending.
